I was waxing the bottom of my 1998 XL1200 and noticed a very large 5" diameter concave dip in my hull. it's right on the flat pad on the very bottom of the boat. I tap on it and it seems hollow. I have seen these on fiberglass boat hulls before they are called blisters. I am wondering what the hull is made of and what are my options to fixi it? Can it be repaired or do I have to get a new hull?

Thanks for your help.
