I got six billet water outlets from riva, I was using 3 for the head water outlets and 3 for the triple pipe water outlets.
As you know factory pipes supply a water exit manifold to go 3 in 1. Should I use this manifold for the pipes or go striaght out with the 3 billet outlets ?? Any effect in performance or cooling ??? If I had to use the water exit manifold, do I have to route the hose pipe to one single billet outlet ?? is that enough for the factory pipes ?? Were is the best to place the 3 outlets from the head ?? any inputs are appriciated guys, I need your help to tell me whats best |

malta,
toss the manifold and put 4 out the back on the side of the boat and use the 2 stock ones in the front . |

I agree. Trash the 3 into 1.
Using the front fittings allows you to see if water is flowing through the engine. |

Using the stock ones does not allow you to see anything. I used three in front below the gas cap to be able to tell if water is flowing thru the heads which to me is the most critical one.
I used the exit water manifold and connected it accordingly and used clear hose of the exit section of the stinger filters to be able to see if it flows. Fercho [ 08-04-2002: Message edited by: Fercho ] |

Malta, Dana did my boat the way he described, out the back, and utilized the two front bypass fittings. Theres a pic. of it on a thread named "UNMATCHED R-3" on page 25, it came out great, trash the second manifold.
