00 GP1200R, put engine back on top of the mounts, what is the torque for the bolt that goes through the metal engine mounting bracket and into the rubber mount?

oops, just found it, looks like 12 ft. lbs. Next question is does it matter which way the shims face as long as the couplers are level?
