I have a 2000 1200 SUV 135 hp. Is there any kits to improve the speed of this touring bike? We are in our late forty's and just ride, no wake jumping or towing. It is not uncommon for the wife and I to go 80 to 100 miles in a day. Just like to go faster than 53, like maybe 60 or beyond Thanks, Kev

It would be very difficult to get that big of a speed increase. You would end up with an engine that you could only use race fuel in, and many thousands of dollars worth of mods if they are available. Give Riva a call and see if they can help.
If you don't quite need that big of a PWC look at the Sea Doo supercharged 4 stroke. It gets to mid 60's and it is big for a PWC. Its a 3 passenger model. It also gives a good ride in choppy water.
Best of luck to you.

Thanks Spud, I kinda' figured that would be the answer....I guess the Misses and myself will just poke along and be happy...It truly is a great riding boat. We boat Lake of the Ozarks quite often, and that is a super rough lake, but the SUV stays up with the best of the big boats...Thanks again, Kev

I know a lawyer here in the Azores, not a very young man....Cool guy...he rides his SUV and rides it with his wife....she is not sporty at all...hey, they get a kick out of riding the SUV...even in choppy waters....It rides like a boing....stick to it....plus you have that storage....! If like to go fast, just accelarate it, the thing goes fast...and it rides smoooooth.....
