if the hull is the same as a 99 gp1200 then you want a plate frome a 97 or 98 witch is like 4 inches longer the plate on my 99 gp12 was cut flush with the hull and it sucked the plate i have now is of a 98 gp12 i think and it's mutch beter. but i think i'm going to try the riva one with the spacers(not the grovy one) but these arent cheep but if you want to spend the doe i've heard nothing but good about the riva one
