I am interested in visiting some of the islands off our coast line and would hate to run out of fuel.
I know that the GPR sucks 17 gallons at full throttle, due to the sea swells i will only be doing 1/3 to half throttle to the islands, do any of you enduro or long distance fellow skiers have an idea what i can expect.

Airborne If we were going easy we could go 60 miles up the river before the low gas warning buzzer would go on, 15.9 gallons includes reserve if I am not mistaken. Hope your going to the Islands with other boats the ocean demands respect.

During break in I got 3 1/2 hours out of my GPR and the warning buzzer still didn't sound. My RPM range the whole time was between 4000-5000 with occasional bursts to 6000. I imagine I'd probably get about 4 hours out of the whole tank. So I would think you should be able to get about 150 miles out of a tank if you're not going WOT. And I hear they don't burn as much after break in.

I ran the LB2CAT race, approx. 65 miles, with a stageII plus kit, ran 2/3 to 3/4 throttle to conserve fuel, came back with about 1/2 gallon left in the tank.
PS. The tank was vented to assure max capacity, probably had about 1 gallon more than a regular fill-up.
