I own a 1996 waveraider 1100 that misses when the gas gets down to half tank or lower. If I stay at 40 mph or less its ok but once I full throttle my raider it will miss and even completely shut off. It will start if I pump the primer up again and will not miss once I fill the tank up. ?Anyone who has had this experience and fixed it please let me know the solution. thanks

first check the check valve. the next thing to check is the possiblilty of a cracked pick up tube on the ON line tube. ( the shorter of the 2 tubes. next tiem it gets to 1/2 tank or so try switching to reserve. if it stops doing it then you have a crack in the ON linen pick up tube so as the level of fuel drops then you suck up air.

Miket, your primer should be connected to the on side of the tank and always run the ski out of the reserve line so you pick the fuel from the bottom.


NEVER........NEVER run the ski from the same line where the primer is connected, you may suck air a seize.
