I am getting ready to install a rule pump in my XLT. I am thinking about using Riva's pump bracket. How hard is it to install ? Do you have to remove much to get it into mounting location ?

It comes with instructions, takes a whole 15 minutes to install bracket and pump. Took me a lot longer to drill the outlet hole. I just stared at it for a long time before laying into it. I hope it didn't feel anything...Oh, make sure your bracket puts the pump right to the bottom of the hull. Mine was almost 3/4 inch off the bottom and had to be bent a little. Very easy install.

I used my cordless drill with a 1' or 1 1/8' hole saw(can't remember exactly). I put mine through the center of the Y in the YAMAHA sticker below the grab bar. A little paint and you can make it blend in pretty good. You can use this location with stock exhaust or free flow mod. Here's a link to a similar post by some monkey:

Oops, just noticed you have an XLT. With all the room under the rear storage bin, you can put the outlet just about anywhere you want!

Super easy, just a little tight in there, I installed mine on both the GP and GPR while the motor was out, is that cheating? ..... er ok I cheated
