Hi ! Guys i`ve just break in my new GP1300R, but i choose not to premix for two reasons : 1 - I`ts not very good to put oil into a gasoline injector.

2 - If the point is to Break In and make some wear why should we give it more lubrification that does not make sense, it as 3.5 Hours and so far so good i have done 65 mph with it and the only mod was the pump sealing.

I think Yamaha just puts it on the manual to prevent people to break the engine by giving it full trotlhe on the break in, just don`t pass 5000 rpm and now and then gave it a litle gas to 7000 rpm for a few seconds.
see you

Hopefully you won't have a 14 hour seizure, get stranded in the Everglades for 6 hours after dark as the gators, water moccasins, and mosquitoes begin their nightly hunt for food.

[Eek!] [Eek!] [Eek!] [Eek!]
Good luck on your break in.

Somewhere in the manual it calls for the dealer to check out your ski after so many hours, and all the other garbage you ought to do...
Ignore it also. But its your ski.
