the other day i had my gp1200r out (110 hours) and the warning buzzer and light came on indicating the cat converter overheating..

Check the pipe and didnt seem really hot, compaired to the other day when the buzzer didnt go off.

I turned it off for a few minutes got back on and ripped for 10 min and it didnt do it again..

has this happened to anyone or any ideas here.. [Smile] [Smile]

That is what mine did when the cat died at 50 hours, only my warning buzzer would keep comming back on every 10 min. after I restarted it to head for shore. You really should just get rid of the cat and get a d plate installed so you don't have to worry about it anymore. You can do it yourself for less than $80 dollars and it would only take about an hour or so. [Smile]
