Fercho, just want to ask about the accelerator pump. You suggested to disable it by removing the cable. I guess i need to do that too for my stage 2 setup, right?

My dealer will install the head and stinger 2 this friday. The rest including the CDI were installed before. He will also put the T handles and hopefully replace the jets if he has them.

Ozark the stock N/S is 1.2 you need a 1.5. Remove the linkage on it and leave the plunger in place.

Ernest the accelerator pump does not have a cable. What has a cable is the oil injection.

The liner on the 2001 and 2002 is thicker. The 2000 liner will erodce with time

There was a service bulletin out to replace the 00 liner and impeller to the ungraded 01 product free under warranty. I thought Yamaha was covering this beyond the normal warranty period. you may want to check this out!
