Yeah its a great ignition system but its over $1500 bucks to buy so unless you are into hard core racing, its not for the rec rider!

Ask C. J. De VILDER (cj.vilder@planet.nl), owner of Vilder Racing. Ther you can find what this new CDI can do:
*Programmable for each cylinder seperately.
*It can by used as a charging or total loss system by just changing the flywheel system.
*CAN-bus sytem:This means that the C.D.I. can be expanded with additional systems
later.By just installing the additional system and connecting it to the electrical system,
the software in the C.D.I. will be updated automatically and the new installed part/system
is integrated.
*One of the additional systems that is going to be developed is a remote control programming
software package. This means that the C.D.I. can be programmed without connecting a cable
to the computer. The computer will transmit the data over wireless. The ski can be left in the water for changing data this way.
*Additional systems that are under vew for developement as a expantion on the new C.D.I's are:
Programmable water injection on exhaust system / Throttle position sensor for use in several
additional systems / Programmable powerjets on the carb's / Electronic controlled trim sytems
for the pump nozzle / Temperature measurement sytem / Data recording system.

*At this time we also did start the work on the Titanium hollow drivetrain for the GPR and the SuperJet.
Wink

Egoist........"Hollow Titanium Drive Train". Is this something you are working on or Vilder is. Sounds like something I'd like to know more about.

Smile No, its Vilder who is making it! They have it already for years for Kawi!
From titanium they making also charging flyweels for Yam701 and 1200. This combination outperforms many total loss systems on market not losing charging posibility. Prices for this titanium charging flyweels are 1300USD.
