Hey guys! I live in Kentucky and just went across the river into Indiana to shop for a 2002 gp1200r. The guys there gave me a price of $8399 for the craft $175 for freight $575 for the trailer. By the time it was all said and done it was over $9600 out the door. That seems odd that they are sticking to that price I would think they would have some room to work with. All the dealers nearby in Ky only have left over 2001s. What do you guys think about this price? If you have any ideas please let me know!

Good grief!
I think $8200-8300 with trailer would be fair.
They must be making a killing!
shop somewhere else.

The yamaha site lists all there dealers, I'd try calling some of the dealers within driving distance.

Whn looking for an 02, I found that VOODOO's luck was better than what I could get. THe best that I got a dealer to was 8200 which included all prep and a 6% sales tax. I think that the trailer was going to add 375 to that.

the sesaon is just starting, I imagine the dealer is just holding out to see how much they can get for it.

Good luck-
GT

Thanks for the help guys. I live in Owensboro which sits right on the Ohio River. I tried the Yamaha dealer locator on their web site but all of the dealerships within reasonable driving distance do not have any 2002s. I think the dealer in Louisville is getting one. If you guys have any more ideas let me know! Thanks
