Rumor has it that the folks at Riva had their hands or still do on the new '08 RXP-X. I've got mine ordered and have heard there are some differences in the piping areas. So my question is what parts can I safely buy now for my ski coming next Spring? Interested in handling and exhaust stuff to start and will await intake grates to be made and see what props are opening up the top speed.

We displayed at the dealer show this year so I got an early look at the 'X' boats! And yes I crawled all over and through them!!!!

With the exception of having to redesign our intake grate due to the longer intake track on the RXP-X all of our Stage I Kit parts will bolt right up. Not sure what pitch impeller you'll need though. Once we receive a test unit we'll be able to determine that and a whole lot more about what fits and what won't.

Trust me....I'll be sure to post the info when I have it! Wink

MSRP is $12,999.00. Yes, the 'X' boats are listed as being 255hp.

I got to ride both of the new "X" skis at Nashville and was very impressed! I even participated in the Sea Doo Bouty Challange, but since I knew I had very little chance of beating some very fast racers I decieded to run the RXT-X around the course. That beast handles almost a good as my STX-R. I couldn't get the thing to break loose in any of the turns and I did try. The RXP-X wil be a sure winner in closed course and the RXT-X will kill in Super Course!

How about now? Any chance you've gotten more intimate with this ski Riva and gotten a closer look at it?

Yes we have. We're still sorting out which current products will cross over and which will not. I'll be sure to post what I can when I can.

Hey Riva, did you guys ever figure out a way to take the trim from the RXT-X and put it on a RXT?

Can't tell you what we're working on exactly because we don't have a test unit. The X-boats won't be out until Feb `08. After seeing them at the dealer meeting and again in Havasu, where we had plenty of time to look through them, we have a good idea where to start and what to do though. We'll have plenty for you come next spring!!! Wink

Just checking in as there's a dealer in Florida that has already gotten in a P-X and a T-X (actually the T-X has been sold and already has hit the water). Any chance you got your hands on one before the public?

We're aware that other dealers have received their `08's before us. No ETA for ours as of yet.

Actually, we received quite a few! Both RXP-X & RXT-X. We've been testing and fitting up parts all week. As soon as I can I will post more info.

Stay tuned....! Cool
