Dear Customer,

We received our metallurgy report this morning and have concluded that a portion of the driveshafts that were shipped in our Sea-Doo Pump Extension Kits (RS33080-PEK-50) were not heat treated by our vendor. Although all 100 pieces were sent in one batch, it seems that they skipped the process on an undetermined percentage of shafts. Effective immediately, we are initiating a recall of all shafts in the field so we can determine if they are heat treated. RIVA will cover all expenses for round trip shipping on the shafts and make things as easy as possible for everyone. Bubba Kersten from our customer service department will contact each customer individually to inform them of the situation and make arrangements for shaft pick up. Also, you can call us directly to arrange shaft pick up or discuss any questions or concerns. Please do not return a drive shaft without first contacting RIVA or being contacted by RIVA.
