i have a 99 gsx limited that boggs down or dies out while cruising about 1/2 throttle.if you keep it below 1/4 throttle it runs fine,or if i excellerate to full throttle it runs fine.checked compression , it was 140 , 145.carbs were rebuilt at end of last season,new plugs,fresh fuel.sk i was running fine then progressively got worse.

looking for some info on a 98 gsx limited...has lost hole shot and some top end...thought a battetry issue but replaced and new one seems to be charging, any help would be appreciated

I would check and make sure your Rave Valves are working properly. SOme times the soloniod goes bad or they could just be stuck. I would remove the caps and be careful not to loose the springs. Do a visual inspection and make sure they move up and down easy. A good quick test is to remove caps and run it if you get your top end back then you know it has something to do with them. GOod luck
