How do i turnt he maintnance light off on a 05 rxp. it came on at 10 hours and i changed the oil myself and want to turn the warning off.

You can't! Only the dealer can turn off the maint light with his BUDS computer.

I change my own oil too and just learn to live with the maint light.

WOW thats a load of crap. I ran intot he same problem with my civic and the SRS light but i eventually got it turned off. ****.

Guess ill have to live with it also

When you guys purchase a new ski you should get the dealer to commit to the 10hr service.

Does the MAINT light only mean it needs oil? Or could it be other problems as well?

I belive if you don't have your first service done at the dealer your warranty is voided. You might wanna check into that. I had my first service done there and do all my maintinence myself now on my 03 GTX SC. I also live with the MAINT light that came on at 80 hrs. It only stays on for the first 30 seconds at start up though.
