This whole stage 3 kit is really turning into joke. Since its announcement there have been not 1 but 2 updates to it resulting in a $725 price increase and to top things off no one has even seen one of these kits. What bothers me is that a comapny like yours should really keep things hush hush until your actually ready to release a product instead of whats happening. The added parts are great and necessary, the washers should even be put on the stage 1 kit and the valve train upgrade sounds a lot better than before but the fact is it wasn't in peoples original plan to buy them and now are practically forced to. If I had a kit preordered im definately gonna pay the extra money to get all the "necessary" parts. To make matters worse all this is doing is slowing things down even more, its August in a day or two and nothing has been released, you have yet to even anounce HP numbers or info on the RXT kit which youve been promising for I don't know how long. All in all things aren't going smooth for us consumers with you guys right now price jumps, late arrivals, and no real concrete claims about this kit hp or mph wise. 80+???. At least if you wouldn't have taken preorders it wouldn't be such a mess.

Just my opinion does anyone else feel the same way?

One big problem I see is this.

We as a group jumped on Riva's ass about giving out the information on their kit. They waited and waited as long as they could as lots of people were getting pretty upset and asking "Why not just tell us what is in it?"

So they did and now it seems to be lots of people that are claiming that Riva mislead them or some ****??

I mean come on guys it is not a big suprise that you need to do work on the valvetrain turning 8500 rpms.
Riva added a couple of parts to a kit that raised the cost $600 or so. If you have a $10,000 ski and drop another $7k in parts why even say anything when the maker of the product says they found an upgrade to make your investment safer??

One good example is the RR ECU. They charged people to do upgrades and I did not hear one complaint over that. Why did they not do it for free as they should have released that program first??

Riva I think you need to move some product out the door but think you guys have done a hell of a job!

Thanks for the post.

We can't release our ECU's until we work out a few details with BRP concerning the activation procedure. Once we're able to release the ECU's the rest of the engine parts can be shipped.
