I know “results may vary”, but what are your guys seeing for performance gains between stock and stage II (acceleration, handling, stop speed)? How accurate are RIVAs claims to their top speeds? I am also a pretty aggressive rider and was wondering what my best option for a block off kit would be? I am thinking pro-series, but what is the difference between the handling of the pro and the performance block off kits? Thanks for the input, I am just trying to plan ahead for this winters project.

Most people see 74-75 mph out of that kit while others see 76-77 with a little tweak of the 15/20 impeller and filling in the rideplate holes.

The difference in acceleration between a stock ski and a Stage 2 ski is tremendous.

So there is a noticeable gain by filling in the holes of the ride plate? What’s the best way to go about doing that? And how are they tweaking the impeller? Any ideas on what direction I should go with the block off kit?

EDIT: One more thing, how does Riva’s kit compare to its competitors (like franco dettori, PPG)? I am just wondering, as I am 99% sure I will be going with Riva for anything seadoo related!

I use JB Weld stick to fill in the rideplate holes.

2mm off the trailing edge of the 15/20 works wonders Wink

The RXP needs the pro blocks.

The difference in handling between stock and having the pro series blocks is tremendous, especially at higher speeds and in chop.

My friend has ther performance, not worth it. Upgrade to the pro blocks. After he rode my RXP Stage 1 with the the pro blocks he couldn't believe the difference. Then I rode his RXP Stage 1 minus wedge with performance block offs, and I thought they sucked. Not much difference from stock in my opinion.
