bombardier oil is castrol gtx 10w-40 nonsynthetic oil. Bombardier does not make their own oil. That is who they get it from. They just put it in a different bottle and mark up the price for you to buy. Do not use synthetic oil because it will promote your SC clutch to slip.

Bombardier oil is made by Castrol but it is not the same oil as Castrol GTX. There is a thread at Green Hulks that speaks about it. RX951 did research on it and posted great information about it. I had also started using Castrol but switched back to Bombardier after reading about the differences. Its a long thread but worth reading. Click here to read about it. You paid a lot of $$ for your ski and why chance it.

Ditto. Much thanks to RX951 for his crack research work. Of course my dealer tried to convince me that I needed synthetic.

give Mobil 1 MX 4T a go. It costs more than the BuRP oil but is synthetic - exceeds JASO MA requirements.
This is one synthetic you can use with the SC's.
