ok, I know this may sound stupid, but I have to bring it up.

Following the general K.I.S.S. guidelines, did they try replacing the spark plugs?

I've got the same problem...

05 RXT.. New it was unreal acceleration and speed. I'm sure the RPMS were up there. I wanted more, installed stage 1 kit with 14/19 impeller. Now I can only hit 7,600 RPM...

Gerald, I don't have an answer for you, sorry. But SD gave my buddy a new RXP on friday. He's been breaking in the new one all weekend. Varying throttle speeds, one 5-10 second full throttle run per hour. Now he has 10 hours(sun night). The other boat??? who knows what was wrong. Thanks for your posts, I appreciate them.

Gerald, i told you already that your boat issue is not your SC clutch sliping, is your solas 14/19 prop, listen to me, remove the solas prop and put back your stock prop and take the boat for a spin, if the rpm's remain low then your problem is the clutch.
