The Performance Package listing for RXP models is now available online. Click here!!! RXT info will be available soon. We're in the process of collecting test data.

Please keep in mind that it's the weekend so I might not be at the computer much. I try to have a life you know!!! Razz

Tomorrow I'm giving our sales staff a seminar on the kit and letting them ride our test RXP so they can give you first hand knowledge of what it's like. Wink

Is the supercharger impeller different?

Yes. The housing is precision machined to for that impeller specifically.

The blades have more surface area and the housing provides more volume.

Riva,

A quick question:

I notice the powercooler comes with a different BOV...

Will/When this be available (and a price) for those of us who already have the powercooler kit as I understand the bigger supercharger requires the use of it...(whereas many of us just block off the BOV on the Stage II kits)?

Thanks

Both of our kits require the use of a Blow-off Valve. The Billet Pro-Series model should be available mid July. I don't have a price for just that piece with me. I'll have to look it up Monday.

To see the availability of the new parts as well as detailed product info click on the to the right of the each listing.

Right...I understand that. My biggest thing was I noticed it was a different BOV and wondered about the individual availability of it and price.

Thanks.

Riva:
Couple questions.
What boost are you running @ 8400 rpm.
What is the diameter of the venturi nozzle, and are there interchangable rings?
What were the outside temps when you were able to run 8400 rpm with that prop?
If you did test the 14/19, what were the differences between that and the 15/19?

Thanks.

Nice kit, and with no internal engine mods. That prop rocks out of the hole doesn't it?

I don't have any Dyno figures with me. I'll look into that Monday.

Stock is 83mm. Yes on the rings. (That's explained in the overview on the page and on the individual product page.) We're running an 82mm ring on our test lake.

It was 87° with 92% humidity just this week and in the 90's last week with relative humidity at about 85~90%.

The 14/19 didn't perform well. The 15/19 in this kit isn't an off-the-shelf 15/19. We had Skat custom cast it for us with the following features:
  • Lightened hub.
  • Special "Super Pro" Finish.
  • Precision balanced to within 3/10 of a gram.
  • Most importantly - RIVA logo cast in hub! Big Grin

We include the billet impeller cone.

That would be nice. However, right now we only have the one-off parts for our test unit. The sample pieces were sent out for tooling and production replication. The earliest we will see any production parts is the begining of July. It's looking like the whole kit will be avialable mid to late July.

I have the stage 2, Will there be an upgrade kit offered or will we just have to pick and choose from the parts? Also is the stage 2 blow off good enough for stage 3? what would be a good order to upgrade in as i won't be able to buy everything to upgrade all at once?

We intend to offer upgrade kits once we've caught up on back orders of the complete kit; which are building up more now that we finally released the info!

If it were possible to use the Performance Blow-off Valve we would not have upgraded to the Pro-Series Blow-off Valve. So the answer to your question is no. Stage III has so much more boost that the billet aluminum blow-off valve is necessary.

You will be able to use the Pro-Series Blow-off Valve with our Stage II Kit.

You can add the ECU to the Stage II Kit by itself. I don't have exact performance data yet, though. The Pro-Series Supercharger Housing & Impeller must be used in conjunction with the RIVA ECU and Pro-Series Fuel Injectors.

Ahhhh... Ya never know these days. Cool

We haven't established pricing for just that piece yet. I'll be sure to post when it's available.

It differs in that the valve has more volume, it's adjustable (preset for our Stage III Kit) and made entirely from metal so it will withstand the increased boost.

They should be available around the end of July. We have significant amount of Stage III Kits on back order already so we'll be shipping complete Power Cooler Kits with the Pro-Series Blow-off Valve first. Once we've filled those orders we will be able to ship the Pro-Series Blow-off Valve separately. It will come with the tube that connects the supercharger to the Power Cooler.
