Today was the first time I got a chance to ride my RXP with the new repitched solas, OPAS block offs and Riva Grate. 70.2 (gps) with about 4 bars of gas @ 8000 rpm. Today was a nice day called up Garry and we had to hit the water. 78 out with mild wind and water temp was around 58. The first few min out both Garry and I was hitting a constant 69.7mph with 3/4 tank of gas. The rpms stayed around 7800 to 8000 but we never saw 81500 like I did last August. After we put the new Denso stock heat range plugs the rpm would climed to 8000 and stay there. no more ump and down on the range Does this mean I need more pitch it it is maxing out at 8000rpm?? I did gane around 2mph on top end but let me say this, the acceleration is way sick. When you hit the gas you better have your A## to the seat if not you will be pulling yourslef up to the bars. The Riva Grate I got fomr PPG is good Had a chance to cross some mild boat wake it never left the water. With the OPASS block offs on you can turn the ski, no drag at high speeds.
Last year 68.7 mph max at 8100rpm
Now OPAS block off
Riva Grate
Denso stock range plugs
Solas repitch
= Mad sick acceleration
70.2 with 3 to 4 bars of gas
Do i need more pitch on the impeller to see the 8100rpm?????
