Has any one tryed race gas in an rxp?
110 octane normailly leaded gas.i know the manifacture suggests using unledded prem.grade. Dose any one have a degree in fuel to explain weather it would hurt the motor or not.Im thinking of mabie a mix of prem, race gas probly approx 10 gal prem,4/5 gal race or even less race gas than that.Riva Im even up to your advise,I know you have to stick to the manificture recomendasions, but info about running leaded gas in this motor would bo good info. |

It would be a total waste of money and would give you no added results.
Race gas is for extremely high compression engines. Running 91 Octane in our skis is fine, but 93 is better if you have it in your area. |

Then why is it advised for use in turbo/super charged engines, more boost usially leads to low comp ratio, due to cylnder volume high boost=lots of fuel required meaning more cylnder volume required to proform.I dont doubt that it dosnt help in a stock engine but I was just wondering.(I bleve high compression anything above 12.5/1 on a turbo or supercharged engine can be tricky to kep running theay like to blow head gaskets 2 much pressure with high boost)

Yea, it wont do an good. Even in my ski which is getting the head ported and polished and the Rotax Racing camshaft installed all i need is pump gas and going with more octane won't prove benificial.
