I was out in radar canal again this afternoon with my camera setup.

This first video came out pretty good. The ski was porpoising like hell though and my camera mount was just flapping in the breeze. At one point i had to drive with one hand and steady the camera with the other.
I'm impressed with how quick it snaps to 75

This run was with 3/4 tank of fuel.

"right click" "save as"

I gave up on the camera mount for this second run and not having to worry about steadying the camera I was able to pull a 77.2. If I could ever get this porpoising under control im confident I can hit 78.

Temperature was 90 degrees at the time of these runs.

There is no doubt about it that it will take hull/rideplate mods to stop the porpoising. I'm working on it!

Thanks Ray!
I found the speed in the rideplate. I filled the holes and trued my new Riva grate to the ride plate. (it hung down about 1/8 inch)

Here are pics of what i did. Your RXT could benefit too.

The bolt holes on the grate were filled in with Right Stuff, but i filled the ride plate bolts with Bondo-Glass, but had one pop out so i filled it with JB Weld stick.

It's because they are in Mp2 format which the standard media player does not decode. The only way to view them is to pay for the decoder from a site.
