Our Intake Manifold Upgrade Kit enables your engine to produce more horsepower through increased boost pressure (+1lb). Supplied hole cutting tool allows easy removal of restrictive screen element from inside of intake manifold. Special o-ringed, billet block-off plug with integrated fitting for aftermarket boost pressure gauge fills opening left after removal of screen element. Includes detailed installation instructions. This modification improves acceleration primarily. I don't have any graphs I can post. I'll put in a request for them.
We know from previous product development (215 S/C Impeller) that increasing boost improves acceleration. That goes for any forced induction application.

I did this mod and have only 45 minutes on the ski since doing it (total of 21 hours on ski). I noticed less acceleration and it seems "bland" across the torque curve. Do you know if the ECU takes some time to compensate? The only other performance mod is your free flow kit (FYI).
The ECU compensates quick enough to where you won't notice. After the break in period it runs wide open! The first thing I suggest you check is the supercharger clutch slip.
For a new X-boat superchrager the slip should occur between 10 & 17 N•m (89 to 150 lbf•in).
For a broken in X-boat supercharger (same as ECU break in) the slip should occur between 8 & 11 N•m (71 to 97 lbf•in).

I realize slipping wouldn't be any fault to Riva or this mod, but I need to vent a little. How is it you have to check for tolerations on a brand new craft? Okay, so having said that how do I go about checking for slip? I'm probably going to have to buy a special tool, special bracket to hold the SC that I have to remove from the ski, right?
How is it you have to check for tolerations on a brand new craft?
There could be any number of reasons. Imperfection in materials; human error when assembling; contaminated oil; etc.
The only special tools you will need are a camshaft locking tool and a torque wrench. The test is performed with the supercharger on the craft. First you must remove the valve cover and install the cam shaft locking tool. Then you remove the supercharger air inlet hose, slide the socket onto the supercharger impeller nut and rotate to check torque.
Have their been any other experiences with this mod? After reading the first post i was excited, after reading about the other gentlemans experince, im a bit hesitant.

so iam thinking of geting this manifold up grade kit for more boost i have the grate from riva know so i was going to install the the power filter kit they offer and the prop from the stage one kit then the nozzle too. doing a stage one kit couple parts at a time to see the profrom as a good winter project as it cools off here in the northeast. so it sounds like it could be a winner in the mid range pull were these boats fly know but to get the full profrom out of these x boats it sounds like its there more boost more pull right.

Keep in mind that when you install the Power Filter Kit you will need to swap out your stock impeller with our Solas Concord 15/22R. This is due the increase engine rpm provided by the increased efficiency of our Power Filter Kit. And when you do that you will need to replace the stock reduction nozzle with our Pro-Series Reduction Nozzle.
This isn't a sales tactic. The stock prop and stock reduction nozzle are designed to work together. You can't change one without changing the other. That's how Sea-Doo keeps the top speed at 65-ish. We put together a prop and reduction nozzle combination that will retain the incredible acceleration and give you significant increase in top speed. Especially when combined with our Top-Loader Intake Grate.
