looks like your having a hard time drumming up support for this one, so I will help you out. I dont agree with that decision to name the rx "Muscle craft of the year". Why? because it does not perform the best in the muscle craft catigory. They use features like reverse, fuel injection mirrors to help come to that conclusion which is wrong.......some one interested in hearing about muscle could care less about reverse. "MUSCLE CRAFT OF THE YEAR" should be which is the fastest/besthandling high performance boat that is the most dominant of the bunch. The STXR out performs the rx in EVERY catigory but yet the rx beats it....makes no sense, and I know first hand since a riding partner has one and I also have an RXX in my garage to compare to the STXR and even that has a real hard time against it (only faster in topend on glass). the rx is nice for some people because of the features.....maybe it should be called "best feature packed" or something else........but Muscle craft is not right. Even the XP is a better muscle craft than the rx. One more thing.......how could the STXR win last year and the Rx win this year when neither has changed except for colour? smells fishy to me...since the STXR out accelerates the rx, out handles the rx, hooks up better than the rx, is faster top end than the rx and in my opinion, looks better than the rx
STXR is "MUSCLE CRAFT OF THE YEAR" GP1200R is runner up XP not too far behind rx somewhere in the mix for the average joe.

That's what I thought when I first saw....or wait a minuit...when I saw this post AGAIN (2nd attempt) So I thought I would give him something to work with.

If I would have only had a digital camera last time I was paying a visit to the editors of Personal Watercraft Il garage so I could show you what they have been provided to use the entire summer free of charge. Maybe you would understand the reason for the results of the test that were not reported in the article.

Maybe someday somebody will race the rx and have some success, until then it takes second place behind the XPL as far as competition against GPR and STX-R in ISJBA SS, **** I've haven't even seen the RXX make any news against the STX-R or GPR 1200 on the pro circut anywhere. The XPL is far and away the 'doo racers first choice when competing against Yamaha and Kawi. The rxx and rx still has not proven itself in competition compared to the XPL!! Tell me it isn't so!!!
You guys are so far out in left feild it isn't funny. These are stock ski's they are comparing. When it comes to stock, the RX-DI beat all of them. Get over your triple piped crank eating gas sucking mullet ski's. The RX-DI is the #1 muscle craft out there for 2003. Deal with it! he he he he!!!! Still laughing my arse off! The funny thing about this is that for the next year I get to tell all of you that the 2003 RX-DI is the muscle craft of the year.

LMAO!!.....I get to deal with it every weekend....it's fun beating up those things, but sometimes I feel a sorry for the owners when they have that look on their face after getting inhaled through my intake grate and spit out in my jetwash It's not even close at all!!
I would have figured the SC-4Tec, The Honda Turbo 2 seater, or the STXR would have won. I didn't think the GPR would. Yamaha hasn't been doing much promoting lately.
I would have picked the RXDI last. The SC 4Tec and STXR would have been battling for first.
What skis were in the shootout?
Just my opinion.

anything can be arranged to win....for a price.....but let's even keep it all sea doo for a sec.....an rx will never beat an xp on a course unless a total rookie was riding the xp and a pro on the rx, now throw in the STXR......I know for sure the rx cant beat it......even the rxx has trouble against the STXR on the course (yes, in stock form).......so your telling me the rx is as fast as the rxx?
I know your loving this, and I know you know the truth.....you just like to stir the pot a little......it's ok though, keeps the board active

This is a warning to everyone posting in this thread to keep youselves in check. This forum is for the purpose of exchanging HELPFUL information. The flaming and mocking will stop here.
It had the best color scheme. In reality it is a great all around Rec ski in stock form. That's why it won.
P.S. My non piped RX will beat any stock Ultra,1300GPR,or Honda. Not flaming but you are dealing with the smallest powerplant. The catagory was'nt best race ski.cb
The muscle craft shootout means nothing. Except for those who are suckers enough to buy in to it. The politics and arse kissing etc that goes in to these so called shoot outs is out of control. Plus which magazine and who owns the magazine? Come on the RX-DI is a good all around ski, but thats it. There are many others that will smoke it and how many of these are converted to race craft? ZERO. Because of weight, Hull, handling etc..
