When I did own my RXP, everyone INCLUDING RIVA, and UMI (who is in Scottsdale AZ), told me that UMI would not be making a steering system for the RXP...

I love the idea of the tilt steering, and wish I would have had it on my ski at the time. I'm sure it would have made a night/day difference.

I don't either. Hopefully Riva will get one of their guru parts guys to study the drawings and figure out exactly what we need for one of these kits.

if youve ever sit on a gtx limited you will see what a huge difference this tilt system makes, those extra 4 inches of height changes the whole ergonomic feel of the ski,,i new this would be a home run with all rxp, rxt, gtx owners,, would`nt suprise me if its not standared equip on the 06 rxp,rxt models.

it's upsetting to me that Riva won't put together an OEM kit for this unless it's "their uniquely manufactured kit"... that's BS in my opinion. i mean you are in the service industry unfortuantely for you, so i mean if your csutomers are in high demand of this, ur telling us you don't want to make the quick bucks of sitting down for a little while, figuring out the parts, and selling a tilt steering conversion kit. L-A-Z-Y.... or is it too much pride to use OEM parts? i'm sorry but that RIVA CREW psot bothered me on the previous page that they won't do it unless it enhcances and is better than OEM.... well guess what genius... the tilt steering is better than the stock RXT/RXP steering. that fulfills your first parameter.... but sorry, guess your still stuck with using an OEM part. if OEM parts are so crappy why don't you manufacture your own brand and model line of PWCs?

harsh post? yes.... necessary? i thjink so yes bc there's a TON of interest and RIVA CREW tells us:

"We aren't in the habit of using OEM parts to make kits. Reason being we design our products to be improvements on the materials and design.

UMI offers a steering system for the RXP already that we are more inclined to sell as it is much stronger and will last longer. The initial cost is more than what's listed in for the OEM parts, but you will only need to buy one in the lifetime of your craft! "

ok so UMI is more expensive than OEM, we don't like that. UMI will last a lifetime... and the stock steering won't!? PLEASE! if someone is replacing stock steering compoinenets in the lfie of their craft they got serious issues.... steering cables and whatnot fine.... bend the handlebars fine... but how in gods name can tilt steering "breakdown".... get on top of your game.

Like i said, this is your opportunity to make an easy quick buck... no R&D needed... it's be done already.

I don't think you can do that legally,if they are all stock Sea-Doo components. If you altered,or fabricated some of the parts, thats different. My guess is,that's wy Riva has not put out a kit of this sort.
