Over the weekend, I was talking to a factory Seadoo rep and he said that there was rumor of a 200 horsepower supercharged 2 seater. Anyone else heard anything like this? If true, look out Yamaha.

Yes, it is true. It will be out this December. I talked to the CEO the other day about it.

Is it the RX? I've heard rumors of them cramming the SC into it.

Frewman has been credible. I hope he is right. I have $12,000 cash to build a triple pipe 1300cc GPR! Hope I dont spend it all before then. I will sign the Seadoo 1.9% if I do. HaHa.

Frewman, how sure are you on the RX supercharged? You know the CEO of Seadoo?

Too bad it's on the Rx hull. I have never seen an RXX owner/racer that didn't have some complaints about that hull hooking up in chop. It has a mag pump too.

I was hoping it would be smaller version of the current SC hull. Or a slightly larger version of the XP hull. If it was the latter, the XP hull could continue to be a dominating closed course hull/boat, cause with the right rider, the XP hull can CARVE chop at high speed.

Frewman is right seedoo is putting the sc 4tech engine in the rx or rx type hull, buts its gonna be 185 horsepower not 200. But if frewman says its so it must be a fact. [Eek!] [Roll Eyes] [Big Grin]

You bet we'll be there...camera in hand! [Big Grin] We'll post pics on our site along with any information we obtain. Once the dealer meeting is over the information is considered public knowledge. Should be interesting!!! [Wink]

Should be interesting at the very least. It looks like somebody has allready been doing some snooping, or leaking...

If this is true it could be the start of a serious performance war much like what we are seeing with automakers lately:
