updated clutch is ceramic.

You'll know you have SC troubles when your ski only hits 6400 or so RPMs. There is also a test where you can use a torque wrench to determine at what force the clutch slips and compare to specs.

I don't know what the specs for slippage are.

yes the ceramic can be fitted to the '03. It is the fix when the original goes.

If you aren't having problems with it I wouldn't mess with it. "if it ain't broke..."

Sounds like all is well if you are pulling 75-7600 RPMs, I'd keep the oil and filter changed, put in new plugs seasonally and enjoy your ride. What color is it?

I have the part number for the upgrade kit at my other place but won't be there for (possibly) a few weeks. I'll post when I retrieve it if you'd like but who knows how many times SD has superceeded the P#...

How many hours on your ski? You using synthetic oil?

you will need to change the ceramics to steel as mine went last season and i needed a full engine strip and rebuild you need to get the reinforced steel ones seadoo have brought out lasts about 2-3 years but will not shatter only wear so when u get low rpms u need to change them but at least you wont be paying out for rebuilds like you might by sticking with ceramic washers
