What do you owe? Since you are so unhappy, I'll give you half and take it off your hands.

I fully understand what notro is saying about the charger vs turbo and vibration dampening. Good observation but not buying it. I don`t see vibration or shock being the problwm at all. I`m leaning more towards heat and off throttle probs when rpm is high.

RIVA: Does the BOV look like an alternative to the solution to most charger/clutch probs. It seems to mee that it would. I see shims being left out to solve the clutch problem. Is there a torque/clearance issue with the clutch that when heated tolerances are non existent?

Just found out, the charger isn`t bad just clutch. Dealer was just going to install a new charger. Happier now. Is this going to be an updated clutch?

It will be for mine. How much longer till they finish? No part on backorder for your fix?

If the clutch failure resulted in the ceramic discs breaking up, the dealer has to clean out the broken pieces thoroughly, not just replace the clutch. In all probability, the oil pumps are shot too...and they are on back order.

The HD Clutch from RR seems to have at least as many problems as the stock clutch, maybe more. Most are probably due to incorrect assembly, and this might prove true for both clutches.

From what I hear, BRP has some unhappy employees and correct assembly has a lot to do with longevity.

So, does anyone know about the bearing extractor or support plate being on back order?

I am in this predicament because of the bearing extractor which I was told by RIVA that the job can be performed without it.

There is no special bearing extractor for Seadoo. They can be bought at just about any auto parts store.

Geo, your dealer only needs a shaft holding tool to rebuild your clutch. The sc support plate helps, but an extra set of hands would be sufficient.

Also, you can substitute the shaft holding tool for a 1" spanner wrench available at any auto parts store.

Hoss, do you know if your ceramic disk(s) came off the shaft, or did your clutch just slip?

If the disks disentegrated your dealer will need to clean out the oil pumps, or they will end up looking like this:

By the way, im right down the road in Morgan City

Thanks GreenHulk for the pics. Sent them to service dept via email and they have now orderred a pump. Thanks bro. I just hope they can fix this thing. Might be leaving slicks in Lake Ponchatrain after this. I`d rather do it myself but they won`t give me the parts.
