I would think that the sponsons would be the first problem to resolve, you would need to be below them because I don't think you would have room above. What would be the performance gains desired by this, an attempt to leave the stock OPAS system in place? You would definitely need to use mandrel bent tubing to allow for free flow of the exhaust (would there be enough room to make smooth transitional bends?). Also something else to consider is the question "would the exhaust tip create a problem with the smooth flow of the water along the hull of the ski?”. Me personally I would not attempt this, can't see cutting holes in my ski to later find out it was a bad idea!!!!!, this it what we pay Riva and other companies of the sort to do each time we purchase one of their products and later complain about the cost!!!! Maybe someone else with experience in this area will chime in on the topic.........

Ralphie , I have thought long and hard on this one for you. I think you may be able to go straight out the bottom of the ski without killing the performance. All you would need is an exaust outlet from Riva, a hack saw, a few hose clamps, and about 24" of 3" flex hose. I think this would work great for your needs, let us know how it turns out....

ralphie -- dnielsen has some ideas ---- i to have thought long and hard on this one -- maybe if you remove the back seat and run a 8 foot pipe up on a 45 degree out through the opening where the seat was - everyone will hear and see you coming from far away ( and beable to get the heck out of the area )
