I have a 2000 Seadoo RX and everytime I roll it, it's very hard to start. I roll it back over in the correct direction so that's not the problem. Anyone have a clue how to fix this?
Thanks |

Water ingestion through exhaust! Why do that?!?!?!

I ride with the person who posted this question, and every time he ACCIDENTALLY rolls it, it is next to impossible for him to start. It usually doesn't. I suggested that he post his question on this forum, and it sucks that all he gets is smart a$$ answers so far. Frew, you know anything about this? I doubt its water ingestion, since he's righting the boat in the proper direction. Come on, guys, help out a little.

Fullboogie,I know that you know that water is injected into the exhaust system in order to keep the pipe cool.
When the ski is rolled over & the engine quits running, water will come back in the exhaust manifold & into the combustion chamber (pistons) it gets the plugs wet with water & is hard to start. If you call the Seadoo service dept.(dealers only) they will tell you,Dont roll it over. I dont know how to say it any nicer or less Smart A$$,thats the way it is. ![]() |
