Sweet pics Supercharged and congrats on your new ski. They look so nice without the numbers. I like your trailer too - would like to get a two ski Triton with the look of your single.

Man, OPAS can be downright dangerous. When going thru chop or a boat wake at speed one of the OPAS paddles can grab tossing you sideways.
Happened to me twice before i removed my OPAS.

Here is another account of it happening to someone else at 60mph click here to read about it

I ride my RXP in ocean and heavy chop....have even raced it around buoys.....I've also pulled the OPAS inward so they are pretty well lined up with the hull (they come installed angled outward at about 15-20 degrees). I cannot see how the paddle grabbed tossing the ski sideways (unless you somehow didn't hold the handlebars straight coming off the chop/wave or the OPAS are misaligned!!!). The "old design" from the GTX-SC ('03) had a drop down OPAS tied to your rpm....that caused extreme drag when you came off a wake or wave....you could actually feel the 1000 lb. tank stalling out! Haven't seen anything of that sort with the RXP, since it is in the up position all the time.....and above the bottom of the hull. I know the block off plates have been around for some time (particularly usefull for the GTX-SC), but I've found that it's a rider preference to keep or remove the paddles on the RXP.....mine are staying on...I prefer the extra little bit of help they give turning at buoys.....the RXP needs all the help!!!!

My 2 cents worth!!!

Yup, just screw them in as far as possible on both sides, with the handle bar straight.

Make sure and don't whack anyone in the chin with the bars, when you are playing with the nozzle. Big Grin

Nice triton trailer! I just bought the same triton today. Mine also came with diamond aluminum gas can storage rack that holds three tall round racing quick fill gas cans. Those **** five gallon cans retail $47 a piece but the dealer sold them to me at his cost at $30 a piece for buying the trailer.

I got the storage rack for free. I needed it because I dont want to haul gas cans inside my blazer. At least you can haul your cans in the back of your truck.
