I have a 2006 Sea doo RXP with only 25 hours on it. I took it to the shop for an oil and filter change, and they told me it needs a new wear ring. I had it installed and it did cost me an arm and a leg, but it was worth it. Now when I drive the sea doo, it pulls a LOT harder. It's like it was brought back to life. Why would I need a new one after just 25 hours though? Do they really need that much maintanance?
i had a05 rxp and it needed a wear ring too after having put in it was night an day out of the hole way better hook up coming out or even in mid range. it had 90hrs on it a little more than your machine mabe you suck something in before it doesnt take much

I suck a lot of stuff up. I often have to clear the impeller of various objects, I drive through some really shallow canals, so maybe that's my problem.
That will definitely do it. When it comes time to replace your plastic wear ring again you might want to consider going with our Stainless Steel Replacement Wear Ring.
This direct replacement wear ring is precision machined providing a tighter fit around the impeller. This improves performance. It resists debris damage and salt water corrosion as well.
