Hi all. I have a '05 that I purchased brand new and it is completely stock. I've had it for over two years now. Just recently I have lost power in the entire power band as if the super-charger is doing nothing at all. The max RPM's I am now hitting are around 6400 RPM's. My wife has a slow GT and we are about equal out of the hole and top end, if anything her's is just slightly quicker now. I rode it one weekend and everything was find, rode it a few weeks later and all of a sudden the RPM's are low and the power is not there. What could this be? I have an extended warranty through 2010 so hopefully if something is wrong it wil be covered. BTW, the ski is in Key Largo so I could take it to Riva, but I'd love to know what it could be. Also, you cannot hear any weird noises or rattling coming from anywhere. Any ideas?

Welcome to our forums! Stand Wave Your diagnosis is more than likely spot on. You can do a fairly simple "slip test" if you have a torque wrench and Service Manual to determine if the the supercharger is causing the loss of power.

If you don't have the tools or don't feel comfortable doing the test yourself get in touch with our service department to schedule an appointment to drop off your RXP and we'll take care of it.
