Im about to buy a new 2008 or 2009 RXT-X. The 2008 models are selling for about $1,600 less than the 2009 model.

If they are exactly the same mechanically, I will get the 2008 model. However, if there are mechanical improvements, especially for longevity, I have no problem getting the 2009.

They were out of 2008s, so I got a 2009.

Does the 2009 speedometer have some kind of limiter?

Seems like the speedo wont go over 68. However, I am still breaking it in and havent fully tested the top end at length.

Didn't the RXTs have some type of limit for the speedo?

70 mph max with stock ecu, 08s and 09s, Get you a nice GPS for measuring speed.....
