You probably need to get the reduction nozzle to get the RPM's in the right "operating neighborhood". I don't know, but it just seems to me, that if you want a P-X or a T-X to perform better than stock, then you have to go all out/buy all of the "stage 1-2" aftermarket parts; which usually equals lots of money...It doesn't sound like these skis respond significantly to 1 part by themselves which makes spending the money for them even harder.

Prop selection is fine, loose the stock grate and add the Riva Free Flow exaustkit. Most important you need to get the RPMs down around 8000 on the X machines, Add the Riva Reduction Nozzle with the 2 degree wedge and extention rod. I would try running the 82mm ring first!!! The X-Charger upgrade is designed for low to mid speed performance....

What did you do to the stock grate cut off the side wings? I would like to try this mod , Right now i have a riva top loader its ok but if you ride in rough water its no good the stock hooks up better. Was thinking about trying the worx top loader but they want over 200.00, Let me know what you did.

Your rpm is way to high. The rev limiter is holding you back. If you add our Pro-Series Reduction Nozzle you will see a significant improvement in top speed #'s. The stock reduction nozzle outlet diameter is pretty big. Sea-Doo does this (and a few other things) to keep top speed of the stock craft at about 65mph. Test the 82mm ring first. If your top speed rpm is still above 8,000 swap it out for the 81mm ring. How are you recording top speed? GPS or radar gun? Did you baseline the craft before you modified it? What was the top speed and rpm stock? NOTE: We do not recommend modifying your intake grate. Doing so can result in unpredictable handling and/or weaken the intake grate causing it to brake.

thanks for the help. I went ahead and added 1.5mm to the 15/22r, installed a more modified stock X grate and the rpm's were down around 8100 in 80 degree heat. Acceleration was much better, no cavitation, top end was 69.4 GPS on a full tank. I am impressed with the X charger upgrade. Just took a bit of tuning to get there. I am running the R&D 85 mm nozzle which is 2 mm and .75" longer than the stock X nozzle. Hookup in 2 foot chop was excellent, running 66 mph no problem, taking it easy. Next mods are the IC relocation, thru hull, RE blockoffs, then down to practice run the LB2CAT run
