Riva does NOT mention that after you install the riva s/c imp in your ski that you will have to re pitch your prop .. I am now hearing this from other riders that i will not be able to run the prop I have now .. I just had my prop sent out and repitched because this happened to me with the riva cold air kit !! so am I know gonna have to send my prop out again!!!currently I see 8100 with the riva cold air kit and riva intake grate and riva block offs am i to belive when I get this s/c impellar in I will be spending all that money AGAIN to take my prop out and have it repitched and R&R???? Riva tech please or anyone that has my combo ??
none the less it should be mentioned so people know going into it that they have to spend more money .. just like the riva cold air intake doesnt mention anything about it ..I dont know of one person that bolted that on and dint have to repitch becasue they were smacking the rev limiter///
Just to clarify something. With the stock ECU you do not smack the rev limiter. You run against it and pose no threat doing so. YOu can run against it all day long with no ill effect.
NOW, with the Rotax Racing ECU the rev limiter is set at 8500 RPMs. When you hit that you "bounce off" of it and RPM's drop down. If you are bouncing off the rev limiter on a RR ECU you NEED a repitch. This is not the case with the stock ECU.
Hope that helped!

When we first introduced our Power Filter Kit we explained that it will free up the air intake providing an additional 150~200RPM on average and that you will need to run a taller imepeller.
We introduced our Supercharger Impeller after our Stage I Kit intending it to be an upgrade to the kit. Our Stage I Kit includes a Solas 14/19 Concord impeller (much taller than stock) to compliment the Power Filter Kit. We tested the S/C impeller in our Stage I Kit equipped test units and felt it wasn't necessary to repitch the 14/19. That's not to say that in your case the same will be true. Everyone will see different results in performance due to production variances from one craft to another, altitude, water type, riding style, weather, riding conditions and on and on....
Anytime you do anything to the engine that improves acceleration it is generally understood that you may need to go to a taller pump impeller.

I replied to your Blow-off Valve post. I read that you are running our Stage I Kit. But, you haven't listed if you're using the recommended impeller as is.
