Kinda vague. Confused Could you define possible?

How possible is it?

Could you give me a speed loss (if any) that would be more reasonable/likely?

Sorry, but I can't give you any more than that. We don't test at elevation. Sorry...

I have a Stage II RXT.
My local lake is at 2200' and I get around 7900 RPMs. I recently rode at an 800' lake and my RPMs were 8100. I have not riden at see level yet.

You can do the math.

The rule of thumb is that you lose 1 mph per 1000 ft of elevation. I have notice I lost 2 mph and 200 rpm on my RXP from 1600 ft to sea level with the same air temp.

The air is thinner the higher you are in elevation and adjustments are necesary to compsensate for best performance. That is why an airplane has and pilots use a "mixture control knob".

Similarly speaking...other variations in atmospheric conditions can effect performance.

Examples: hot/humid vs cold/dry. humid=water. The more water in the aire the less O2. (You and your engine cannot breath w/o O2)

The best time and place to ride is at sea level on a cold clear winter day. (This will give you the best probability of having the greatest concentration of O2.

Air pressure (density) at sea level is greater then in the mountains, cold air is more dense then hot and a clear day will usually be a day of high barametric pressure.

Dont forget water temperatures too...
