My buddy and I purchased the RXT and RXT-X. Both will run the same speed (tope end about 70mph), but the RXT-X is quicker out of the hole. Is there anything I can do the RXT to get that edge back. Anyone have any ideas on how to get a little more out of my RXT 215hp?
The T-X has a little more umph due to the increased horsepower. Adding our Stage I Kit to your RXT will even the playing field and then some. For less than $800.00 you will see much better acceleration and about 4~5mph additional top speed. Best part is it won't look modified from the outside. If you're sneaky enough he won't know what hit him until you pass him the next time you race!!!

Thanks. I was looking at the Stage I kit for the RXT and comparing it to the Stage I kit for the RXT X. I have a few questions. 1) Will the RIVA Performance Power Filter Kit make my engine any more suseptable to water intake should it flip? 2)Won't I need the Extension Rod, VTS, SD RXPX/RXTX/RXP to go with the wedge kit? I is included inthe TXT X stage one Kit. 3) DO you off a Pro-Series Reduction Nozzle for the RXT? 4) Do you think any of this void my warranty?
1) Only if the craft were to completely fill with water. In that case nothing will keep water out of the engine. Let's hope you never have to deal with that!
2) Yes, you will need to purchase the VTS Extension Rod if you install our 2° Pump Wedge. It comes preset for our Pump Wedge specifically.
3) Our Pro-Series Reduction Nozzle will work on RXT, RXT-X & GTX-SC models, but you will lose the ability to raise the O.P.A.S. paddles via pump pressure. Due to lack of sales we discontinued offering a nozzle specifically for the 3-seaters. The O.P.A.S. will still operate.
4) Unfortunately, no matter which brand or model PWC you own installing aftermarket modifications will void the manufacturer's warranty.

For those of us that are slow.(ME) Will the Stage I kit include the VTS Extension Rod needed to install the 2 deg. Pump wedge? It is not listed int he kit price and component list.
The VTS Extension Rod isn't "required" with the 215hp model RXT as much as it is with the 255hp model RXT-X. The 255's launch a little harder so the added trim helps keep the nose down.
That's why we don't list it as one of the primarly components in our 215hp Stage I Kits. You can easily add it to the 215 Stage I Kit by clicking here.
