I have an 06 GTX Limited. I am currently putting on all RIVA.

- Pump Wedge
- Intake Grate
- Sponsons

I really don't know what to do with regard to the OPAS.
Should I just Block them up (Competition KIT),
or totally remove and Block off? Exactly how unstable will the ride be if I only
block them up, given the other handling mods I mentioned?

Thanks in advance

Just to clarify the Competition Kit does not block off the OPAS completely. It keeps the paddles in the up position at all times while retaining the OPAS feature.

The Performance Kit requires that you remove the OPAS completely and includes block-off plates for the hull.

NOTE: RIVA Racing does not recommend the removal of OPAS for recreational riding or new and inexperienced riders. OPAS removal is recommended for competition riding only.

I understand the difference but thanks for the explaination. I see guys talking in here about getting tossed at 60 MPH. So my question is, given the other Mods, will the Competition Kit, in conjunction, eliminate the problem so many seem to say exists with the craft getting jerked while at high speeds and tossing the rider.

For a 2006 GTX Lmtd.
