I have an 04 GTX that has had a smoking problem since the 10 hr service. It went back in the shop and was there for 3 weeks, when I got it back, it had the same issue. It expells a rather large amount of white smoke under load and acceleration. It does the same even with my 15yr old daughter riding (although not as much smoke) The dealer said they replaced a oil pressure valve that was letting oil blow into the intake (not sure why it took them 3 weeks!) The oil level is not too high, I am not losing coolant. Is this normal? Any advice would be great as it goes back to the shop on Aug 9. I would like to be armed with as much info as possible to deflest the BS that will no doubt be flying. I do have the service manual and have checked all it says to check for white smoke from the exhaust.

Burning oil becase of bad piston rings not sealing will cause smoke out of the exhaust on 4 stroke engines.

It does not appear to be oil, It is a pure white smoke, no bluish tint. The oil level has not dropped in 22 hrs since the 10hr service. I have pulled the plugs and they are a nice white color.

the "smoke" is from the ride plate/heat exchanger. Normal for this ski.
