I have RIVA power fillter, Intake Grate, Clutch Shims, IMPROS RE-PITCH, and some fresh air Intake Mods. This is on both of my RXP's. OK so my problem is both maxing out at 6400 RPM and 53mph. So I think it could be one of two things. When I put clutch shims in I did somthing wrong, or I did check oil and it was quite a bit over full on the yellow one and just a little over full on the green one. So I hope it's one or the other (oil I hope)any body have any IDEAS. THANKS

I have owned over 30 PWC"s over the last 25 years,I have always sed that I would never own A SEA-DOO. I now own two(RXP's one yellow one green). So I guess you should never say never. We will see next summer(GOOD OR BAD IDEA).
WHOA!! it would have to be waaaaay over full for the RPM's to be that low. 6400 RPM's is indicative of a failed sc clutch. You really need to get the oil level right and go back and check your RPM's. Allthough, if you are getting the same problem on both ski's i think you did something wrong installing the clutch shim. Hope i'm wrong though!

It's my clutch, looks like the two fiber type washers are cooked, gone. Tryed to get a hold of mark U. to order 2 HD clutch kits, could not get a hold of him yet. PS HULK go to PWC I'm going to try and post some pics of what I did for fresh air. Ya I put that on there yesterday. what I'm going to try and post today is pics of where I put the oil vent hose. where I have the hose and even with both being over full I ahd NO oil blowing around.

I ordered one from Mark 3 weeks ago, still nothing. Got the out of stock story will have in a few days but still nothing. I suspect they are selling faster than Rotax can supply.
Tryed getting RR clutch kit no anser. Called local doo dealer and BRP has a new HD clutch kit for the SC, $150.00@. I have two on ther way 4 or 5 days. It sounds like it's the RR heavy duty clutch kit we will see when it gets here.

no, i dont think it will be the RR heavy duty cluch, but what it will be is the better clutch with shim that they put in the 05's.
The Rotax Racing clutch comes with a new gear that has a larger raised surface for the ceramic clutch disks to ride on. This design creates less slippage therefore less wear. If your clutch kit comes with a new gear then it very well may be the RR unit. Let us know!
Just a hint. There is more than one place to get Rotax Racing products!
