So it seems liek when modifying your jet ski especially the rxp i found out, that when you get one part your going to need a few more parts. For instance you get an intake you need and impellar, you get an impellar you need a new grate. It goes on. My question is if i get the rotax which is gutted as green hulk says i know im going to need more parts. You cant run straight exhaust without running a new intake (thats my belief). Speaking of the intake. i have been looking at the stock ducting and whats to stop people from throwing a cone filter from k and n on the end of the long intake piece eliminating the resonator box? seems like it would free up some extra rpms right? let me know what you think?

A flame arrestor alone won't do much if anything at all. If it did you can be we would have offered that a long time ago! Big Grin

The material and design of the stock intake system is the problem. There are a lot of bends and ridges that restrict and disturb air flow. Our Power Filter Kit is larger in diameter, completely smooth inside and has fewer bends that have a large radius. This is why it provides and increase of 150~200rpm after installed.
