I am new to the PWC group, and would like to know if impeller sizes are rated the same as for boats. Example: 14/19R means 14" inches diameter by 19 inches travel per rotation and the R is the rotation direction. Is this correct?

The numbers refer to the degree or amount of pitch of the blades. The first number is the leading edge. The second number is the trailing edge. The letters or numbers in the part number that precede the pitch refer to the model and diameter.

EG: Solas SRX-CD-15/20R

SRX = 159mm Sea•Doo
CD = Concord
15/20 = 15° leading edge / 20° trailing edge
R = We have Solas and Skat-Trak put our impellers through several extra steps after they are manufactured to ensure they are precise. They are placed in a pitch block to ensure each is pitched exactly the same, they are high speed balanced and we specify a custom pitch that is a little different than what is marked to compliment our Performance Packages. Some are even machined where the hub seats against the pump to "set-back" the prop for improved performance.
