Intalled the Stage 1 rxpx kit with the intake upgrade and thermostat. Thanks Riva for letting me know this was not a extremely hard install. The hardest thing was putting all the hoses back correctly. The front mount on the Riva intake did not match up at all with the bracket so i secured it with zip ties. Everything else was easy to moderate for installing. Hopefully if the weather holds I will take out tomrrow with the HD video camera.

Hopefully i put it all back together correctly and i don't sink!

Excellent! Your bracket issue is common, unfortunately. When the bracket doesn't line up it's usually due to picking the wrong two bolts on the motor or having it turned the wrong way.

When installing the bracket loosely install it onto the tube (while the tube is in the hull) and then onto the motor. Once you're sure it's lined up with the right bolts on the motor tighten all four bolts together. Don't do two on the tube and then the two on the motor. Use a mirror to get a better view of the engine bolts. Then slide the coupler onto the supercharger. Glass cleaner helps with the coupler.

Hopefully you documented your RXP-X's performance while it was still stock. That way you have a basis to compare the mods to. This is helpful in the event the craft does not perform as expected after you modified it.

I was not able to have a baseline MPH before taking it out. When cool, it seems to have more off the line pickup then stock, when warm, it seems to be a slower pickup then stock. It was very choppy so i was not able to get a top speed. But all around it seems to pull harder. The free flow exhaust is very loud on the ski and resonates quite a bit. I like it though. When off the ski anyone can tell that it has had some exhaust/motor work done, but its not stupid loud. Sorry it was just way too choppy to bring out the HD camera.

A few concerns were the marine grease in the intake tube. I believe that was the throttle body end? Not sure where that came from.

On the stock prop it looks like the existing seal has either broken or worn away?

The thermostat was fairly easy.
