Malvin, i told you in your store yesterday to NOT put radar numbers in the board, that this kind of info was goin to grab to much attention from some of the forum members, now you have to explain in the board what kind of mods you did to your boat to reach this kind of speed if you whant to keep some credibility.

The only "real world" info that i can say here about this modded RXP boat is that it is ALWAYS 8 boats lenghts in front of all the others RXP boats after a 1/4 mile long grudge race, so you people out there do the math and get to your own conclusions, i am just the person that race this boat every time and i know EXACTLY what mods were done to the boat BUT i can't give more details because the boat it's not mine so sorry, this is the only thing that i can say so far, Ray

Jeff I heard about that too but don't imagine they will come up with such a boat.
But with only 200hps a SC 15F would drill the RXP a new butthole everywhere instead of just in the rough.

Kawasaki might put a SC on that engine
Kawasaki might make a new hull
From those 2 assumptions, here is what can happen :
1-new Ultra with that new SC engine and a 15F SC
2-No new Ultra but a 15F SC
3-A new Ultra with a 15F engine and an unchanged 15F
4-An unchanged 15F and nothing more, after all, it's all assumptions.

I've never understood the deal with posting a speed number and then acting like you can't say what has been done to the ski. If I run 80 mph on my ski (will probably never happen) you can be darn sure I will gladly tell everyone what has been done to the ski. Guess what, if it is my buddy that runs 80 mph, I'll post that he ran 80 mph. I'll also post what mods the ski has, I don't care whose ski it is. If you are willing to post a claimed speed number but won't explain what modifications were done to achieve that number, it's for a simple reason: it didn't really happen.

What about a 15Fsc with a decent top deck? I'm hip to that!

But the products they mentioned were a prop, intake grate, ride plate, air filter, and a new SC prop. Sounds interesting.

That's it? Gezzz... that's very disappointing. Rotax Racing already has way more, and it's been proven on the GTX for over a year.

Hope there is more...much more.

A ride plate? Can't wait to see this one. Plus, being part of the radiator system, I'm thinking this could get interesting.

Dude, last night we were giving the "final touches" to the boat we worked on the boat until 12:00am, i was giving him a helping hand with the project, i will tell you people a little secret, this boat engine compartment looks like a "PLUMBER NIGHTMARE" with all the extra accesories (mods) that were done do the engine, but we can't finish the job just because we needed an extra 3/8 hose that was no were to be found at this time of the night so if everything goes right, the TERMINATOR is goin to be completed today, we are goin to test the boat tomorrow friday WITH THE NEW MODS Wink I promise that if you people PLAY NICE and stop the B/S and smart *** comments we MIGHT be sending the photos of the boat to the board INCLUDING some "spy" photos at close range of the engine compartment showin all the mods that has be done to the boat lately, i am goin to give you guys a hint, this boat has almost EVERYTHING available installed already on his engine EXEPT one thing. Jarrett, if you re-read the question that i make to you a few days back in the board you "might" found a clue there about what kind of mods was done to the boat lately Smile, take care all, your friend, Ray

Mr.okredline, i understand your point very well but remember my friend the boat is NOT mine so i can't say anything unless the owner of the boat authorized me to do so. Ok, now talking about the elusive 80 mph top end speed that you mention on the board we are not there (YET) with our boat, but this is our MAIN goal, maybe by the end of the year when the aftermarket companys of Canada receive some help from the aftermarket companys from the U.S. MAYBE we are goin to be "closer than ever" to this speed, TIME WILL TELL.........

Ray, I understand that the ski belongs to your friend, but why is he so worried about secrecy. Several years ago when I used to street race a lot, people would ask me what I had done to my car. I would tell them then one of two things would happen: They would not want to race but would be willing to tell me what had been done to their car OR they would want to race but either wouldn't tell me anything about their car or would lie to me about what had been done to it. ("It just has gears, exhaust, and some intake work." Later I find out he forgot to mention the aftermarket cylinder heads and the nitrous kit.) I've never understood the secrecy regarding modifications. I mean, unless you have a flux capacitor and a Mr. Fusion under there (Ray, you may not get this if you've never seen Back To The Future) then there really isn't anything that is going to knock my socks off. I may very well be impressed though.

Craig, i just talked to my buddy a few minutes ago at the phone, he said to me that he is goin to explain in detail what mods was done to his boat, (some are "home made" and some are from a very respected aftermarket company) but first he want to finish the boat then take it to the water make some full throttle runs to see if everything is right, double check to see if there is any water leak take some pictures of the engine and then put the info in the board, how do you like that??? Smile Ray

Ray, sounds like a plan. I can understand someone wanting to dial in a package before the divulge everything involved simply due to the fact that some of the things they have done may not work so well and they may want to back up and redo something. You've hung out on this board long enough to know that there are those who make big speed claims but won't tell how they got there. That leads to a lack of credibility. I've got to give it up to your buddy for diving in headfirst and wrenching on the RXP. I love the people who take a perfectly good ski under warranty and start tearing into it. Big Grin I'm on of them. Looking forward to hearing what kind of performance your buddy generates. Will be even more interested to hear how he got there. Cool
