Ray,

Your buddy Marvin would have a lot less intestinal problems if he would leave the women alone. After all you have to watch what you eat! LOL

This thread is becoming more of a conversation about general subject matter and less about Sea•Doo PWC Performance.

We don't mind the every once in a while off topic post, but let's try to keep it to a minimum. If you have something specifically directed to another member and it doesn't pertain to the topic please send that member a private e-mail or private message through our forum. This will keep the thread relevant to the topic as well as conserve server space for it's intended use.

Thanks!

Please don't take it personally. A while back our forums crashed due to the server running over capacity. They were down for quite some time. We'd hate to have that happen again so we're doing everything possible to prevent it.

Everyone's cooperation and participation are appreciated. Big Grin

The most heavily modded RXP in Texas would be David Rotters. He runs it in the Supercourse Series down here. The guy who does all the wrenching and setup is Snapper. Bob (aka snapper) also wrenches and sets up Mike Younts triple piped stx-r. The STX-r has yet to lose a 45 minute supercourse heat this year in pro-am 1200 ss.

Snapper has David's RXP turning 76 with great acceleration and with as good a handling as anybody has been able to achieve with the rxp hull to date; and if you like engines, you will turn into Pavlov's dog when you hear this bad boy fire up and idle. Get a box of handi-wipes.....cause you'll need them to wipe the drool from your chin. It sounds like a heavily modded race harley on steriods. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. The boat will actually hang and/or beat the fastest thunderboats on the local lake.

I would say it is a level two plus plus. He has planned the hull and removed the hook from the transome and replaced the hood with a little carbon fiber thingy. The engine has all consumer mods available through Rotax racing for the RXP platform at this time.

On the trailor, the boat spits, pops, gurgles, and has a growl you would not freaking believe.

I have heard of rumors at the highest level of the sport that the rxp hull may prevent it from being the legitimate closed course boat that everybody was hoping for. This would be too bad.

As a footnote, I just rebuilt my 1050+ss. It is tight and sounding mean. Once I break it in, I'll line up against snappers RXP and let you know how my xpl did off the line and through mid. My xpl is hardcore ss and setup for closed course. I'll do it this weekend and post pics. I won't have his top but I should be brutal off the bottom and through mid. For anybody interested in that type of stuff, I'll get back on the board next week with results and pic location.

Ride safe and drive considerate.
