According to page 113 of the Sea-Doo 4-TEC Engine Shop Manual the compression should be 8.4:1

Yes Riva, you're right about that...

BUT when someone asks what's the compression on oh say... a 2003 GP800, You would answer something like ...125 PSI instead of 6.6:1

4-strokes have spark plug holes too... What's the Cranking Compression of an RXP in PSI?

Oh...sorry... Red Face

It varies somewhat from what we've seen. 125~135psi.

Riva Crew, is that on a cold or warm engine?

I am going to be doing a compression check on my RXP this weekend, how do you recommend I go about it?

Really? I always thought it was on a warm engine. If that's it it sounds easy then.
